How to Get Rid of Dark Under Arms Underarm Hair Removal

Admit it, all of us need to get this done for hygiene purpose if not for the sake of wearing that beautiful, sleeveless gown. Some guys too, will need to do some maintenance work at the armpit area, clearing out unsighty bushes to avoid smelly armpits which will make us less sexy.

However, the armpit is quite a sensitive region, and some people might complain of getting bumps, or afraid of being cut, or even skin sensitivity. There are several armpit hair removal methods.

1. Smooth Away. It is a pad-like applicator with what looks like replaceable sandpaper on one side, and holder belt on the other. Yes, this application is actually similar to sandpapering your hair away from your skin, also exfoliating your skin at the same time. Some people who do not understand this technology may think that it leaves white flakes after.

The positive side of this is that it does smooth away and exfoliate dead skin from your body. The negative side is that it takes quite a lot of time to complete the task. Also, too much sandpapering of your skin may cause over-exfoliating, and may leave your skin red and burnt.

2. Razor. This is the most old-fashion and quickest way to get rid of unsighty hair at your armpits. It takes lesser than one minute, and all you need is just a sharp razor and shaving cream or gel. The only flop side of this is formation of bumps after a long time of shaving. It may be a clean shave, but it may make you uncomfortable to lift up your arms.

3. Clippers and Trimmers. If you are a guy reading this, then this will be your item. You will not need a clean shave of your armpits, so using clippers and trimmers are good ways to trim your armpit hair. It is just to keep it short and clean, while still keeping that ‘manly’ disposition as many guys will be worried about shaving the armpits clean.

4. Scissors. Okay, another item which is used to trim instead of getting a clean shave of the armpit hair. However, the scissors are not exactly meant for cutting hair, and your armpit hair might actually be caught in the blades while you are trying to trim them off. Well, you can imagine what happens next, as you try to pull your scissors away.

5. Hair Removal Cream. If you wish to use this, you might need to wait for your hair to grow at least quarter of an inch long before you can apply it again. However, it is advised that you do some skin allergy test before you go ahead with the hair removal cream, since some people may actually be allergic to the chemical substance inside. To remove hair with cream, first apply the cream on to your armpit and wait a while. When the hair becomes soft, then you can wipe or wash it away, depending on which product you are using. For some brand, there will also be a bladeless tool that looks like a shaver so that you may scrape away the hair together with the cream when the hair is soft and done.
